Hi Jerome, Thanks for the excellent Firefox extension that is helping me out so much. I am writing a mini-review of this add-on in my blog shankrila.com. I hope I didn't miss this if it's already there but it'll be of great help to set multiple signatures up for multiple email addresses in different computers. An option to export the settings and import it into another computer will just make this so much more useful. It will also save us a lot of time we put into creating the signatures, in case our computer wipes out and if we had to re-install Firefox again. Thanks, K

I agree this would be a good option. For some reason my signatues dissapeared. I don't know where they are stored locally, so it would be a good idea to save them somewhere, export them or even create an option to upload them to a ftp server and be able to sync and retrieve from another computer. |

I agree that it would be nice to have an export function, although you can always copy the HTML of your signature into an email to yourself so that it's available in your inbox and can be easily installed on other servers. I have toyed with the idea of a centralized server like the Foxmarks add-on (which remotely stores your bookmarks and syncronizes them across your computers) but I simply don't have the server or bandwidth power to support it. I might be able to do it if I charge a nominal fee of $1 or so a month for this service so that I could afford a dedicated server, but we'll have to see as implementing something like this at all would take quite a bit of work. It is something I'm thinking about though. |
